Urban Foodscape Tour:
​Innovators Nourishing the East Bay

This day-long guided experience will visit Alameda, Berkeley, and Oakland to witness unique East Bay solutions to workforce development, the climate crisis, and food access inequality. All transportation, guides, speakers, and lunch are included.

• Alameda Point Collaborative A supportive housing community hosting an urban farm, a garden nursery, workforce development programs, all aligned to create sustainable futures for underserved populations in the SF Bay Area
• Farm2Market An urban community farm in Alameda CA, supporting an underserved community by stewarding the land and sharing the bounty.
• Ploughshares Nursery A social enterprise advancing the local community by showing how to make your home garden part of the climate solution.​
• REAP Climate Center A maker space for all ages to learn, contribute to, and experiment with nature-based solution
• ​Bluma Flower Farm Local, sustainable, urban agriculture helping to preserve biodiversity by growing certified organic flowers on a rooftop farm in Berkeley CA
