Dear potential tour customer,
Thank you so much for your interest in Bay Area Green Tours! This is an automated response to all tour inquiries. We focus on custom, group, in-person tours, and may not be able to specifically respond to other types of questions or requests (however, please see our FAQ below). We’re a volunteer-run non-profit: our capacity fluctuates and we will do our best to respond within 48-72 hours within the work week.
Meanwhile, if you are curious about what happens on a farm tour, please enjoy our videos on our YouTube channel to have a brief, virtual tour with our farm partner solutionaries!
With gratitude,
The BAGT team
FAQ
Q: Can you arrange a tour for my group on a fixed day/time within the next 2 months?
A: If you need a specific date soon and are ready to speak to us right away, please submit a 2nd inquiry underlining the urgency, specify your budget (total or per person), and be ready to pay 50% of the tour price upfront.
Q: Do you offer public tours that I can join soon?
A: Our focus is on creating exceptional custom tours; we rarely offer tours which are open to the public.
Q: How many people do I need to go on one of your custom tours?
A: Most tours are 8 people or more to be cost effective. There's not a minimum, but there are fixed costs that still apply for smaller groups or individuals.
Q: How much do your custom tours cost?
A: There’s quite a range because everything is custom, including our pricing. Our Price Sheet here shows our typical per-person charge on a full-day tour for a mid-size group.
Q: How much lead time do you need if I don’t have set dates?
A: We do our best work when we have six weeks or more to plan, however we can create awesome experiences in less time (especially for certain tours or one-stop farm visits).
Q: How can I find out about BAGT’s upcoming events & service offerings?
A: The best way to know what we’re up to, including occasional public events, is to sign up for our newsletter here. We send it a few times a year, plus short notices when we have events scheduled.
Q: Do you offer virtual experiences?
A: We currently offer incredible in-person tours. Please check back for future virtual tour programming.
