Learn about the craft of local organic cheese making while touring in a comfortable bus through the scenic countryside of San Mateo County. Visit an organic or biodynamic Bay Area dairy and engage in dialogue with the cheese maker on the management of sustainable cheeses. Participants learn from cheese producers about organic farming, tour farms, and ranches, and can sample cheese and purchase fresh products. We will have lunch at one of the tour stop’s facilities or stop at a beautiful picnic spot en route.
