U Pick it - A delicious Farm Tour of Brentwood

You pick it!

Spend a beautiful day out in the orchards, meet the farmers, pick your own favorite fruit - fresh from the trees!

This tour is presented by Bay Area Green Tours in cooperation with The Brentwood Agricultural Land Trust and The City of Brentwood.

Returning between 5:00-5:30 PM

Walnut Creek Pick Up:

9:30 AM from the W.C. BART Station
Returning between 4:30-5:00 PM

Enjoy a beautiful day in the green with family or friends.
We will visit Bloomfield Cherries, Dwelley Farms, and Bacchini Fruit Tree and pick a variety of delicious fruit right from the farms:

~ Cherries
~ Pluots
~ Berries
~ Apricots

Spend an intimate time with other like minded locavores, getting to know the farmers and engaging in a dialogue about their practices. Learn about agriculture, the local food scene, and the work of great organizations such as the Brentwood Agricultural Land Trust, Slow Food, Slow Money and much more. We'll picnic in the Bloomfield Cherry Orchard and enjoy a wine tasting in a lovely scenic spot, with beautiful Mount Diablo in the background.

The orchards allow "ladderfree" picking with extra low limbs for your safety and and to let everyone, including kids, reach their own fruit.
